Minor Policy
Minors riding ages 7-13, or 14-17 with No Opt-Out Form Filled Out

1. Minimum of 7 yrs old.

2. For your child’s safety please instruct your child to stay seated in their seat. (seat belts available).

3. Out of respect for others on the bus please keep activities and talking quiet. Music and game players need to have headsets and not disturb others.

4. Please instruct your child not to disturb the driver. If they need to ask questions, please have them ask the driver during stops/breaks.

5. There are two restroom breaks. Instruct your child not to wander.

   • Madras Tiger Mart (Can buy snacks here. Please put trash in wastebasket).

   • Government Camp Rest Area (Bathroom break only.)

6. Minors that are age 7-13 yrs of age:

   • Parent; please check in with the driver. To board the minor needs a minor form filled out. (available from website or from bus driver).

   • Information needed – child’s name, age, person picking them up, and a phone number to reach that person (cell phone if possible).

   • If person picking up child is late there is a $10.00 fee for the driver having to keep the child until parent can be located  (Payable when you pick up the child.) The bus will ONLY wait 5 minutes at a location and then continue on to the next stop with the child.

   • Instruct your child to stay on the bus until the adult has checked in with the driver. This way the driver knows who has picked up your child.

7. Return tickets are required for round trips. Help your child develop a plan for safe keeping of the ticket. If the ticket is lost, it will cost a one-way fare to get back on the bus. If found, ticket can be used at another time.

8. Please send enough activities/snacks etc. to keep your child cared for quietly.

9. Disruptive children will be asked not to travel until they are older and can handle the responsibility.
